Raslene
(b. 1991, Indonesia) is a visual artist based in Jakarta whose artistic practices engage with montage, human experience, text and archival exploration. Her approach often merges contemporary–historical and public–personal perspectives to unpack social complexity, challenging what’s mundane and normalized, while offering her work as an alternative response to the issues embedded within them. She also works across film programming, research, and cultural initiatives.
