The partial group field trip/work is going to Luang Prabang! GEDUP consisted of five Fellows who are collaborating for over six months: Tanawat (Thailand), Nadya (Indonesia), Raslene (Indonesia), Regina (Taiwan), and Jay (Malaysia) under the curator Jennifer Teo.

As one of the SEAD alumni who had never experienced offline exchange, the meetup was fascinating.

During the journey, I was deep diving into the food culture of Lao and everything in between by taking pictures, walking around the town without internet and maps, smiling at strangers, and occasionally asking and chatting around.

This piece is a part of GEDUP from DELTA X: Conversations and Collaborations with Mekong Cultural Hub. Previously, it was physically published in October 2022. And due to personal reasons, this piece is re-edited and republished online in January 2023.
